International Teacher Identity Card
(Just For Teachers)

If you are a teacher with the travel bug the International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) can help provide a cost-cutting cure. With the ITIC you can get travel discounts, special fares and immediate recognition as a teaching professional wherever you go.

Introduced in 1984 to provide travelling teachers and professors everywhere with a single uniform document that is acceptable around the world as proof of teacher status, the ITIC is the most widely accepted form of teacher identification.

The ITIC is distributed in over 40 countries and is endorsed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Your ITIC gives you access to a variety of special discounts and benefits around the world. Look for the "ITIC Welcome Here" sticker or just flash your card when you are travelling and ask for the special ITIC discount.
